Adi Da Samraj
Adi Da Samraj has been my Spiritual Teacher and my source of Spiritual Guidance for the last twenty-five years.
One of the primary purposes of this website is to tell you the story of my participation in devotional relationship with Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj, and how His gifts have transformed my life. I was twenty-seven in 1984 when I picked up one of His books and in a sudden moment knew that I had found my Guru. From the space of one moment to the next, all perspective on life was altered. In that sudden moment, I knew the Divine, Alive and Present as Life Itself and as Reality Itself. I knew the Divine to be Love Itself. And I knew that One to be intimately guiding my life. My heart response was spontaneous and immediate.

In Sanskrit the term Guru means 'the one who helps the student or devotee to cross from darkness to light.' The Spiritual Teacher or Guru facilitates that crossing by means of literal transmission of His or Her own state of Spiritual Enlightenment. To be born into the western cultures of our world, is in most cases, to have little experience or comprehension of this universal and ancient relationship; this sacred yet deeply personal bond of love, joy, freedom and Spiritual guidance. I've discovered in my relationship with my Guru the anciently-known Truth that there is no relationship greater or sweeter than that between the Guru and the devotee. This is understood in Eastern Spiritual traditions to be the greatest Spiritual gift offered to mankind.
